We had another great week with 35 investigators at church. That is a ton of people (really about 2.6 tons of people, I suppose ;) ). We're seeing miracles here in Bangkhae, and all over Thailand.
One investigator who came to church last week got freaked out that she was going to be forced to be baptized or something. We went and visited her at her market where we first invited her, and talked with her for a while. We set up an appointment for the next day, left her with a Gospel of Christ pamphlet, and left. The next day, she walked up to us and asked what she had to do to get a baptized. We had a great lesson, and she asked if we could teach her again tomorrow. We taught the Restoration, and she just got it and felt like this was right. We taught the Word of wisdom, and she readily committed to stop smoking (which she's done for 40+ years) and drinking tea and coffee. She's very excited to change her life, and sees how the Gospel of Christ can do it. Not many investigators are this solid, but God has people prepared to accept the gospel. It's very cool to see people making the steps to living after the manner of happiness, and allowing the atonement to change their lives.
